Aloha, friend. I’m Apryl Nicole.

As a trauma-informed spiritual medium committed to integrity, I am passionate about bringing connection, closure and clarity to those seeking guidance on their healing path.

Apryl Nicole is a renowned spirit medium who believes whole-heartedly in the healing power of our ancestors. Prioritizing being grief- and trauma-informed in her practice, her approach to communicating with the ancestral realm is extremely grounded in the sacredness of being human. Internationally acclaimed for her mediumship work, Apryl has collaborated with many reputable professionals, including Nat Geo Wild with Andre Milan, which highlighted her diverse abilities as an animal communicator, and Calling Out with Dr. Drew and Susan Pinsky, in which she was a guest celebrity reader. Amongst many prestigious awards, Apryl is a proud recipient of the 2017 Social Activist Award with Best American Psychics for her charitable causes. Whether through mediumship, shamanic healing, 1-1 mentorship, or retreat facilitation, her mission, above all, is the help others heal. Apryl lives, works, and tends to her beautiful horses on the sacred land of Kauai, Hawaii.

Trauma-Informed Gestalt Equine Therapy

As a mentor student under Duey Freeman, founder of Gestalt Equine Therapy of the Rockies, Apryl is working toward becoming a certified mental psychologist with a speciality in equestrian therapy. Combining her passion for horses, energy work, and mental wellness, Apryl is excited to start incorporating equine therapy in her retreat offerings based in Kauai.

Additionally, Apryl has begun pro-bono work with foster care social workers, bringing equine therapy into her sessions in order to help them work through deep-seated trauma. Offering trauma-informed healing modalities such as equine therapy is extremely important to Apryl because of the abuse she herself endured from the age of 8 until 14. Understanding first-hand how difficult the healing process is when it comes to prolonged trauma, she is committed to—and proud of—this important aspect of her work.
